The Auckland Grand central station  This amazing piece of architecture was built in 1930 to provide a gateway for visitors to see New Zealand via rail till the early 1980s now used as serviced apartment living for students and visitors to Auckland. The History of Kingseat Hospital  Kingseat hospital was a psychiatric hospital just south of Auckland city which was open between 1932 to 1999 to house and treat mentally unwell people during that time there was untold reports of severe abuse and neglect,  the doors closed in 1999  when the government went through reform in regards to mental health and Kingseat hospital was closed down,  it is now used as housing for winz and two adventure fun businesses, one being Asylum paintball and the other is Spookers which is a scare fun business in the nursing quarters, To View More >>

New year, new plans for 2023 this was the first year celebrating new years in the great outdoors, my partener and I decided to hike the Holdsworth - Jumbo track for four days even though it can be done in a full day we decided to do it over 4 days allowing us to take our time 2-3 hours each day hiking and givess me time to take millions of photos haha.
