The History of Kingseat Hospital

Kingseat hospital was a psychiatric hospital just south of Auckland city which was open between 1932 to 1999 to house and treat mentally unwell people during that time there was untold reports of severe abuse and neglect, the doors closed in 1999  when the government went through reform in regards to mental health and Kingseat hospital was closed down,  it is now used as housing for winz and two adventure fun businesses, one being Asylum paintball and the other is Spookers which is a scare fun business in the nursing quarters,  it is told that more nurses died there than patients mostly by suicide due to the working conditions at Kingseat Hospital. Kingseat hospital is probably the most haunted place in New Zealand with around 100 sightings of paranormal activity one being a nurse called the Grey nurse which haunts the nursing quarters.
