Woohoo Time to shine
Hi Guys
This blog is about photographing waterfalls and the process I go through to create some the iages your about to see, first of all thank you.
This morning I decided to head out to capture some images related to a project i have been doing called Franklin; This place is just south of Auckland, New Zealand; So I grabbed the keys, turned the car on and just started driving thinking about where i was gonna go I thought what about a little place just outside of Waiuku this is Waitangi Falls not everyone knows about it, so I pulled into the carpark grabbed the gear and got down to the waterfall and I forgot my tripod adapter so had to improvise and used a rock instead sat the camera down and started firing away after taking a couple of shots i checked my composition and light shooting at 1/8th of a second at f11 with my fuijifilm Xpro 3 and 33mm f1.4 wasnt impressed with the focal length so I swapped it out for the xf23mm f2 (35mm fullframe) all shots below have been shot the 23mm f2.
Realizing that I did not have my tripod mount with me I had to go back home and grab it thankfully I dont live to far from Waitangi falls after getting back to the waterfall I set up my tripod to take the next 5 shots (images below)
All images were shot used Fujifilm Xpro 3 & xf23 f2 f stops rannge between f11-f16 and shutterspeeds were betweem 6secs - 25secs
Enjoy
